DRLs in '22 Limited (and probably others with factory LED headlights)

Thank you for the photo's and taking the time to document this! I like the cleaner ground and not having to mess with the driver side. This mod makes the truck look the way it should have from the factory. I assume your setup is now flicker free?

    Purchasing a 5th Gen advice.

I shopped both and disagree. I wanted a surround camera which is standard on Toyota. To get this option on a Lexus GX460 you have to purchase the Luxury package. $50,000 for the Limited, 70,000 plus for the Lexus. And as much as I tried to like the looks of the Lexus I just couldn't. And that...

DRLs in '22 Limited (and probably others with factory LED headlights)

I have a 22 and i am currently using them (Amazon cheap ones) as DRL's. They do work and look fine however i have noticed they do flicker very slightly if you are close and looking for it. This is a non issue when you step back a few feet. The other weird thing is they occasionally get much...

DRLs in '22 Limited (and probably others with factory LED headlights)

It shows a red loop wire yet the existing red wire from the harness is still there or is the red wire from the amazon harness actually pulled and used as the red loop wire and just not removed from the diagram? Sorry if I'm making it more confusing. I would love to get this working.

2022 backup camera quality vs prior years

I had a 17 before my 22 and I agree the new one seems worse. I don't think there is an adjustment besides the brightness and contrast settings.

    1 Deer too Many!

Good advice! Plus nothing is more dangerous and annoying for oncoming traffic than a light bar being used on public roads. A close second is guys who lift there f-250 6 inches and don't adjust the headlights.

    Audio system

Actually Spotify can stream 320 if you choose that option. But you are correct that the bit rate is tied to sound quality. FM radio transmission is compressed and loses dynamic range as a result which is why its sounds average at best.

10a fuse burns out with HID's. Question...

The XD kits from Xenon Depot do not require the use of relays. Mine have been running off stock connectors since I got them. They work great and I have not had any issues. As far as fuses blowing, I would contact them and see what they say. It sounds like something in the ballast, bulb...

Can anyone tell me the part number for a new "Black" metallic lower center console

You might look here Genuine OEM Center Console Parts for 2017 Toyota 4Runner Limited - Olathe Toyota Parts Center for a start. They don't list 19 model year yet but at least you can get an idea of the cost.

My 17 has 1 12v in the lower dash, 1 12 volt in the center console, 2 12v in the back of the center console, 1 12v in the rear cargo area and 1 120v/400watt inverter also in the rear cargo area.

Auto Headlight setting and Drop In HID Kit...

I had the exact same issue. Passenger side would fail to start in auto setting but I could turn the lights off and back on and it would come on every time. I have the Xenon Depot Extreme HID kit in mine no relays, just running on the stock wires. I talked to XD and they advised swapping side to...

    35w Hid question

I have the XD Extreme HID kit in mine and I did not use the relays. Lights work great, no issues. Not sure about other HID brands but would think they work without the battery harness as well.
