I have two amps installed where the factory subwoofer would go in the rear quarter panel. I would imagine it gets pretty hot, however I have NEVER had a problem. (except when my wife backed into something...not a good story) It does prove to be difficult to service them because I have to...

I do have a subwoofer. I dont know that I have any other options for placing the tweeter other than the factory location.

I was just curious about which people prefer. "Hi end" 6x9 coaxial speakers vs 6 1/2" component speakers. The reason I ask is because I am upgrading my front speakers in my 04 runner from a set of Infinity 5 1/4" component speakers to more bass up front. The 6x9 speakers go lower (35Hz) but...

I've got this unit in my '04 Sport. It fits just fine. However, it does look a little funny the way the unit sticks out. Over all its a great piece. ~S~
