Any progress or update on replacing the 2013 TE NavUnit DVD? I have scoured the interwebs and come up with zilch. I got a Nav DVD updated disk, U99, but cannot, for the life of me, find out how to eject the 2013 Nav DVD that came with the vehicle. There is nothing in the manuals (any of them)...

This would be very helpful...except that my HU does not look like this and does not have an "info" button. I've got an early 5th Gen version - six button/two knob HU. It's not as fancy as the 2014+ models.

My manual doesn't exactly give me step by step directions about replacing the DVD. I've been looking and trying to take apart the head unit for a couple weeks, but to no avail. Any other specific ideas?

Question: how did you actually install the update from the disk? I have no idea where the dvd nav slot is. I bought the same disk, but I don't know where the Nav Unit is to replace the old disk.

I have tried to look for the nav port in the owner's manual, the navigation system manual, and scoured the internet. I am beginning to think the 2013 4Runner does not have one...or Toyota hid it very, very well and decided not to tell anyone where it was.

So what exactly are the parts you installed in? I have a 2013 TE w/ KDSS and I'm about to mount Rough Country rock sliders and looking for a small 2-3 inch total body lift to deal with the snow, ice, mud, etc. where I live (Syracuse/Upstate NY) and where I vacation (the Rockies).
