same thing here in NC. parked outside most of its life. fender flares peeling, the rest of the paint looks really good.

Same here '04 model, dealer replaced it while under warranty but new one started doing it after a while. My dealer told me Toyota was aware of the complaint but had no action plan to resolve it. I guess I just got used to it after a while and not I don't notice it.

Just turned 180k this weekend. Still running like the day it was new. 04 SR5

I just turned 179,000 on my 2004 yesterday. Still going strong. rides and drives like new, looks close to new besides some small parking lot rash..
