1988 - 3.0 73K miles... SR5 Runs well.

There is a miss at Idle. And when I'm at a stop sign it idles so low engine almost chokes out 300 rpmif Iput the truck in park or neutral it OK 800 RPM(but still seems to miss) Compression is 115 on all pistons. Truck seems to run great other than idle. Very poor gas mileage! 14mpg . Thanks...

Cylinder #1 has 95 lbs compression. Messured it several times... There is a miss somewhere or something going on that is causing the idle problem... I've gone over all the vacum hoses they seem fine. I changed plugs, cables, distrubutor. Fuel injector? Is there a test I can do...? Thanks...

Pitbull - no other problems... Does not burn oil, coolant stays good, truck does not overheat... No white smoke frm exhaust. I'm going to do a compression check myself when I get home. (guy at work let me borrow his) If I get good compression I may look at the injector as the issue... But...
