I bought an L-shaped piece of aluminum from the hardware store. I cut it to my desired length and then drilled holes for the maxtrax pins and for bolts to go into the side of the crossbar. It was only a couple of bucks and it’s been working great.

When you do purchase your RTT, any pictures or comments on how the rack holds up with it would be appreciated. I just installed a 3/4 rack and wasn’t sure how a RTT would do on it.

Looks great! What brand of non skid tape did you use? I want to find something that will last without having to be removed and replaced often.

I ordered mine on Black Friday as well and I got it two days ago. No problems with the powder coating and it looks like all of the parts are here. I will hopefully get it installed next weekend. Good luck with yours!
