Update:
So I bought hub-centric spacers as "gm350reratliff" suggested and the tire shop ordered a new set of tires and the problem was solved. I'm not sure if the problem was due to the tires or lack of hub spacers but at this point I don't care because the ride is nice now.
My wheel spacers...
I see where you're going with this but it's not so convenient to switch out tires when I have to go to the tire shop to do all this. The tire shop is a pain in the ass
I'm wondering if the bushing are bad now but they were brand new at the same time as the tires. The tire shop said they checked for a bad wheel and things were good. Hopefully I won't have to replace bushings now.
I have a set of these tires (285/70r17) on Method NV wheels with less than 4000 miles on them and I can't get them to balance out. The vehicle shakes moderately at low speeds and turns into a heavy vibration/shudder at higher speeds but nothing even remotely close to a death wobble, just an...
Anyone using this rack? I'm about to pull the trigger on a roof rack and this is the one I'm wanting...I'm just wondering if there's any regrets or issues that anyone has. This seems like a great rack, very versatile and relatively inexpensive vs. most other rack out there.
I've searched but not getting the answers I specifically need.
I recently added a 3"/2" lift with Toytec 2.0 rear springs and 33" Cooper ST Maxx E rated tires and like everyone else my mileage and power has tapered off and I'm fine with the trade-off but now I've just purchased a 19' travel...
I forgot to mention that I do have the diff drop installed. I'm going to step it up to .85 and see how it works. Right now the ride is good and don't want to get too much worse. Thanks guys for the input! I wish I could buy you guys some beers
I'm running Superflex 2.0 (non-HD) w/5100 in the rear. Stock bumpers front and rear. And I have the tire rub issue too. 285 Cooper ST Maxx's, 1.25" spacers, 4.75 BS/0" offset on the wheels. How is it that some tires rub and others don't on a 3" lift? My tire shoulders are pretty aggressive so...
Ok, I'm tired of searching for the answer I'm looking for so shoot me.
Is anyone running Toytec's 3" front coils on 5100's on the .85 perch? I have this setup but on the 0" setting and I'm not happy with the front lift...it doesn't sit level. Will kicking it up a notch (pun intended) get me...
