I agree with fourwd1 you don't know what your getting, even though I put a used motor in mine $1,640.00. i put new valve cover gaskets , water pump before I dropped it in. I changed the oil filter, plugs,thermostat and O rings on injectors. Fired right up and have put 2,500 miles and no poblems...

Ouch How many miles or KMs you up to? I have a 93 and it had 225K miles it still ran ok, but had a knok or piston slap. Maybe you can check your compression, low compression = low or no fire? Rebuilt could mean the heads rebuilt and not the lower end to some folks:surfer:

Hg I've had a few cars and when I check one out to purchase I always check the oil filler cap, nut. I look for the milky brown discoloring inside the cap it seems to collect there and if someone's a good scammer it will be clean. I know your past the purchase but take a look and if your head...

I would check and clean Injectors, replace all vacum hoses, gaskets. I was dumb and put a used motor and did'nt replace the valve cover gaskets and after a 1000 miles was my only leak!. Good Luck & Enjoy!!:banana:
