Rear Diff Gone Bad At 48K Miles???

My '03 4runner had the diff rebuilt at 65K, so I wouldn't say it was limited to '06s.

    Getting a new windshield tomorrow

That's a real big presumption you're making there stating that the design of the windshield was bad. I ended up owning that truck for 10+ years and the only time it ever leaked thru 3 windshields was after they worked on it the second time. I was not impressed with the quality of their work.

    Getting a new windshield tomorrow

I had a '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee done twice by them. The first time they left sealer all over the dash.. the second time the windshield leaked like a sieve and ended up ruining my headliner and information display.(It can rain real hard here in Texas). They were sorry, but no go on any repairs...

    Tires for 4Runner Sport

I'm thinking you're going to get recommendations all over the board with this questiion. It would be a lot easier if you told us what you were really looking for in a tire, the type of driving you do the most with this vehicle, suspension configuration (now and future), and where you live...

Problem with XM reception after install

I would say yes as others appear to have done that. This wasn't an option on mine 'cause that input wasn't available in '03. Just double check the setting on your XM unit that it's set for audio out and you'll probably want to turn off the FM settings.

Problem with XM reception after install

There's three different ways to get your XM signal to your Head Unit (HU). - install the "FM out" antenna wire that broadcasts your FM signal from your XM unit - install an FM modulator that intercepts your regular FM antenna and plugs into your antenna port on your HU. It takes the signal...
