    Lift or just level?

Personally, I wouldnt lift the front more than 2 inches without UCAs. 3/2 lifts look good, but you need to seriously beef up the tires. I'm at 1.75/.75 and anything smaller than a 285 looks a little small (though some tires look bigger than their spec).

    Post your LIFTED pix here!

I had cornfed make me a custom .75 inch spacer. He shipped it out the same day and I got it two days later. Great quality.

    SeattleMike's cargo project

I've been following this thread from afar and I want to thank you for sharing your journey in this with everyone. It's way too easy to forget what's really important in life. I'm going to squeeze my wife and daughter a little tighter today. I don't often say this, but I do truly mean it - God...

    TRD or aFe intake?

If I had to do it again and the aFe is $100 cheaper, I would have gone that way. Like I said - I'm happy with the TRD, but I'm sure the aFe is just as good.

    TRD or aFe intake?

I have the TRD. It costs too much for what it is, but I like it. I would buy it again, but don't do it unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket.

    Awesome gas mileage- Part 2

No offense - but you guys must drive like old ladies. My gas mileage absolutely sucks. Yes, I have bigger tires, but I'm lucky to average over 15 mpg.

Stiff suspension on the Trail Edition

For me, it was a noticeable difference. I wouldn't spend the money on Bilsteins for that reason alone, but there is no question in my mind that the truck rides and drives better than before. I'll echo everyone else and say the tires make a bigger difference in ride quality. I previously ran BFG...

Stiff suspension on the Trail Edition

I did - my truck is less clunky over potholes than before. Dampening seems better controlled. Ride is better, IMO.

    Looking for a Trail Edition

New Toyota 4Runner in 73196 - Cars.com Looks like the closest one is 500 miles away for you. Post Tsunami has been tough - I got mine for 1k over invoice with a $1000 cashback for my stock wheels and tires, which I used towards an aftermarket upgrade. I was able to find a TE in state and that...

    Best thing I ever did.....

Good for you. I think your truck sucks, btw. Should have gotten a Raptor. Maybe you can trade it in? :hello:

Compilation of Poll Results - Thoughts?

Looks like a predictable demographic breakdown for a generic forum member. Younger, higher education, likes to mod and proportionally greater ownership of the TE than what is probably seen in the real world. My observations of the typical T4r driver is that of a young to middle aged woman...

    Rear Liftgate Struts Blown

Add me to the list of blown struts. They just stopped working out of the blue. Hatch sinks down slowly and shuts closed with a slight push. Brand new, I thought the struts were actually a bit too aggressive - my wife was barely able to close the hatch.

    what would you change

The 5.7 V-8 would pretty much make it perfect for me.

What did you drive before your T4R?

BMW 325i BMW 328i Honda S2000 WRX Sti G37s coupe The 4runner is a huge departure, but enjoying it so far. Would love to have the 5.7 V8, but you can't have everything.
