Looking for a driver side fog lamp lens. I have looked around but all I can find is the complete assembly. That might be the only way to get it, if so then so be it. If anyone has a 4runner they are parting out and have one that would fit please let me know. Thanks! GJ

Thanks for all the responses. I didnt purchase this particular vehicle. Turns out the guy selling it trades around alot and recently got it on trade from someone else. I dont feel comfortable purchasing a vehicle under these circumstances

I was thinking the same thing and found this thread. I will switch to Mobil1 syn on my wifes T4Rs next change. Its a 99' V6, just clicked 100k miles. To bad I cant talk her into a new vehicle so I could snag hers:)

This was the first thing I thought. If the belt is still good and has proper tension then check the output of the alternator. If its an older battery in your vehicle it wouldn't hurt to get it tested as well. I know most places in my area will do it for free.

I found a 2nd gen today with 30k miles on a rebuilt V6. Altogether the T4R has 260k. It is the original 5sp trans, owner "says" he has changed the fluids regularly...but who knows. My question is, whats the avg life expectancy of a 5sp trans from a 91 model? So far, this is the straightest body...

I'm trying to find a 2nd generation T4R with a 22re. My problem is, I cant find one! I have been searching the classifieds, craigslist etc. I'm sure I've seen post on here with questions related to 2nd gen. with 22re, so I know they exist. Did Toyota just produce more 4runners with the V6 than...

Its a 5sp. Is the head gasket issue a big problem like its just a matter of time till it happens or more of a beware 1 outta 10 issue?

I am looking at buying a 1990 4runner SR5 4x4, roundabout 150k miles on a V6. asking price is $2200......is this a fair price? I'm not familiar with them enough to know. Anything I should look for or be aware of for this particular year? I know the 22re is very reliable, how about the V6? Thanks...
