Flowmaster super 40 or 50 series

I installed the Super 44 on my 2007 V8 Sport Edition and took it off and installed the 50 series. The super 44 was too loud for me.

    Ottawa area 4Runner servicing?

Meet ups Are there any Ottawa area T4R meets on the go? I just moved here from Halifax.

Anyone near Santa Barbara with modified v8 exhaust?

Sorry brother, I am on the other side of North America but I can tell you that I installed a Flowmaster Super 44 on my V8 and hated how loud and droney it was. I then installed a 50 Series Flowmaster and I love it. Its low and growley during normal driving and sounds great at WOT.

    V6 Flowmaster super 44, 40 or 50 series?

I put the super 44 on my V8 and I hated it. It was great at WOT and at idle but every other time it was annoying. I replaced it with the 50 series and I couldn't be happier.

    Will 295's Fit?

I am running LT295/70R17 Toyo Open COuntry MTs with after market wheels. +15mm offset I believe. They touch the upper control arms at full lock but that doesn't hurt anything and I removed the front of my plastic fender liner.

New member and I need your opinion

There is nothing in your photo that would cause me any worry. I am from a place that uses salt to de-ice the roads in the winter. I've seen 1 year old vehicles that look worse than that.

    my mechanic effed me

It could be nothing at all. The backing plate might be bent and rubbing. Jack the wheel up and give it a spin before you start freaking out.

Looking for the perfect 265/70R17 tire - head is spinning

I had the Cooper AT/3s for a few thousand kilometres. The dealer I bought the truck from installed them. They did well in the mud and off road. They were good in the snow as well. I damaged them offroad. It wasn't too bad but some tread blocks had pieces torn off. I sold them and I upgraded to...

    Linex front and rear bumper

These are not very good pics of the paint due to the mud but you get the idea. This is also before my bumper was finished. The tire is now mounted lower and the bumper is done in black rocker guard to match the plastic. I also went over everything with clear coat...

    Linex front and rear bumper

I did all of my cladding with black spray can rocker guard. It looks good but requires monthly touch ups.

265/70/17 owners, wish you've gone bigger?

I love my Toyo Open Country M/Ts. I found the right offset wheel and only had to remove the bottom half of my fender liner to fit LT295/70R17 (33X11.50R17) with my Cornfed 3/2. I get constant compliments on how the tires look and usually don't need any help in the mud holes or on the rocks.

    Muffler... Ohhhpinions?

I swapped the Super 44 for a 50 series and I love the new sound. I am installing the tail pipe on Monday so I hope it doesn't change too much. Hopefully just moves the delightful growl a little farther back.

    Rear tow hook

I have used that tow point to recover lots of heavy vehicles from lots of mud holes with zero issues. Like someone above said they are grade 8 bolts and it is a solid 3/4" steel rod bolted to a hefty spot on the frame. You could easily hang the truck from it.
