I read a post somewhere earlier about lubing the throttle cable to solve this problem. Do a search - I know it was in the T4classic section.

I have a 94 runner and the dealership just told me that the idler arm or the relay rod had a recall on it and they would take care of it. I'm no mechanic but you may want to check this out. May save you a few bucks.

I just put some 1.5 coil spring on the back of mine from All Pro Off Road for 150.00 and they are great ride is still good also.

Just for the info I took mine in at 197K and they did the recall on the head gaskets and fixed whatever else was damaged due to the head gasket problem. Now they did a sh@##! job and sent it back still leaking. I took it back and they got the leak fixed -- how you ask - the idiots filled it...

recall I have a 94 SR5 - How do you get this taken care of. Will the Toyota Dealeship just take my VIN and tell me all the recalls that need to be done on the truck.
