It does. Interesting to note why they moved the oil filter from the top of the engine to the current pain in the arse location. :ohwell:

I can tell you there is only a black and a red wire toward the front of my mirror housing. That's it. This is on the passenger side. I'll have to find somewhere to tap my turn signals, or take it to a dealer, but not sure they will want do the install.

I may be able to do this tomorrow am. I have the Suma mirrors with turn signal but do NOT have the turn signals or puddles in the housing (non-premium). I haven't figured out how to wire them up. I suspect running the wires to the front turn signals is only option.

We are taking our 4R with us to the Caribbean in a few months. I don't think there is such a thing as a cold start down there. LOL. Loaded up on some 5W20 to take with us for maintenance. Toyota just trying to cover all of its bases here with regards to climate. They sell this engine everywhere.

I may have to store my 4R for long-term, maybe 3 months or so. I will get a smart battery tender to take care of the battery. I am questioning whether I should remove the battery from the vehicle and charge it that way. Any suggestions? I'll also put the 4R on jack stands at all for corners...

Please someone wire this up to a non-premium, and tell me how to do it. Hah hah. I may take a stab at it but I don't normally do electrical. :noidea:

I got the RCI aluminum skid plate mainly for the ease of oil change, and I'm ok with that. I may need the skid plate in the near future for more skid-plate-like reasons, but in the mean time it makes my oil swaps much easier. :guitar3:

Have to agree. This is my first "truck like" vehicle and I don't do over 75 in this thing. Anything faster scares the $hit out of me. You all are crazy for doing 90 or whatever. An avoidance maneuver in a 4R at high speed can't end well. Given this I am fine with it. I didn't buy it for winning...

Anyone know of a good local shop (Charlotte) that does electrical stuff? I may need to outsource my side mirror turn signal job, since I don't know what I'm doing there. And possible install a kill switch.
