I hope it doesn't die off. In my experience the Internet Archive doesn't do good archiving vBulletin forums like this one. It's always missing links, pages, etc. It makes me wonder if I should personally run some kind of archiving script just to be safe.

+1 on an adjustable relay. I ordered one about two years ago and it came with a dial that let me adjust how fast the blink speed was. Can still hear it click. Can't find it on eBay anymore though, but I bet there's plenty out there.

Could be the stalk, and that's also my best guess. Probably should check it with your multimeter. If you're getting power to the stalk but nothing out of it, then that's more than likely your issue.

Frames? No. the feet are side specific. You can swap the cushion part itself interchangeably, same with the back depending if you're picky about where the lumbar switch is (if it has one).
