A lot of people in this thread have mentioned functionality, but don't you lose the ability to tow? I love the look of the bumper and I get the departure angle, but what happens when you need to pull something? I don't think they have a listed or available tow rating for the bumper.
I had the same experience. After my last “free” oil change, I did my first oil change at home. I swear they put that housing on with an impact wrench. I broke one of the tabs off the plastic housing getting that thing off... Now I need to come up with a replacement.
Selling a 2018 TRD Pro Suspension. It was taken off at 500 miles and looks almost brand new. I originally bought the kit from a local firefighter. My 4Runner has KDSS and I’ve decided to go a different route.
I’m in far North Dallas (close to Plano)
SOLD
Did my first oil change on the 4Runner last night. And throughout the whole process was wanting to go burn the dealership to the ground. First issue, my skid plate was missing a 12mm bolt. The second issue... the plastic oil filter canister would NOT come off! I was shaking trying to put all...
Probably gonna try the Opti-coating next weekend. Probably will try a correction and polish before hand. I plan on sending several days on the prep. We’ll see...
Far from totaled. But don’t forget about the diminished value reimbursement. For future resale, any time a carfax is run on your VIN, this incident may reduce your resale value. The city isn’t going to willingly hand you that check, you’ll probably have to fight for it.
