replace them just to play it safe, friend had some older tires with fine tread and had a blowout that almost caused an accident.

I bought a 01 4runner and would've killed for it to look like that. I think that truck is fine for the rust

My VSC and trac off lights pop on periodically and I have a shop scan the codes and they go off with no problems. They said it may be a computer issue of some sorts in communication but I have no problems with my VSC at all. Maybe have someone code scan them and see if they pop off with no problem.

I would definitely recommend replacing it with bluetooth able receiver. I did that and I definitely thought it was worth it in the long run and it wasn't that much to do so

I bought an 01 T4R with frame rust that was minimum and 1.5 years later I had to get it fixed. I would make sure to get a couple people to look at the frame and rust just to play it safe.
