i have one and use it with my kenwood nav unit dnx9980hd. it is very cool but you have to sink the unit every time you start the car. even talked to kenwood rep to find a work around.

If you want /need KDSS or locking rear diff you need a trail if not sr5. most if not all sr5 options can be done after market. you need to be honest with your self on how much 4x4 you need
