Yea its a sulfur smell that rolls in the back window when you have it opened....it kinda sucks but only last for a few seconds....your from harrisburg?? Im just above harrisburg in Halifax....small world dont see too many other 4Runners around here yet!

My SR5 which has the standard key fob allows me to open and close only the rear window by sticking the key in the lock on the liftgate.....unlock and hold opens the window and lock and hold closes it....Not sure that you can program the remote to open and close the window...

As harper posted its a product of the parts that are used in the newer engines now....My 07 Tundra had the same dieseling sound that you guys are describing and people got all excited about it at first until they understood that it was a normal condition. I personally do not notice it as much...

Do any of you guys know if the 15" rim off of a 94 T4R would fit on our new 2010's?? Looking for a wheeling set of rims and also a little bit of a retro look...i know they are 6 lug but not sure if the offsets and bolt patterns are the same?? Thought maybe someone on here would know...Thanks guys!

Sorry i didn't think about taking pictures when i was doing it. If you buy the purolator oil filter cartridge for our T4R's then it comes with a picture and word description step by step of how to do the filter change....hope this helps

Did my first change today and as far as i was concerned it wasn't all that bad doing it on the ground with no lift....I know the skid plate towards the back has an access hole for the oil pan drain but i removed the whole plate and then the front one I unbolted and let it sorta hang/hinge down...

I was wondering the same thing...i got one of those flexy short antennas from Advance and it has the adapter that came with it....i wonder if it will fit into the mangowalk antenna...If it is thats great! I really hate the flexy one but it was just a temp fix until i could find one more suitable.
