Thanks for all the info. i Have the same problem on my 98. The problem has just started after i ran the tank really low. Been over a few bumps and no luck even after filling it to the brim.
Wanted to confirm if the Low Fuel light is linked to the fuel gauge as my gauge is working fine...

Proud new owner of a 1998 SSRX V6 Hilux Surf (4Runner) with the 3.4 5VZN 185 Engine. Picked it up around a month ago out of Japan. Pretty ideal condition with 95 000km on the clock. Greta site and defiantly have a load of great ideas already :thumb3:
