welcome... nice find for $500. i have been looking for something like that for almost a month now but not having too much luck... found a 90 in AR with no motor or tanny for that price but nothing else... good luck with the head gaskets, some vehicles they can be fun working on...

for anyone who was wondering about the question i asked... i think i found the answer. i believe the 3.0 V6 came about in 88 and there were no significan changes until 92... soo i think i am in the clear.. here is the reason i am asking about this... check it out... it was a fun ride... painful...

All of the symptoms sound right to me... i had the same thing happen to me with the motor.. had a slow oil leak that was never really discovered and the shaking at idle started to occur. I was driving the car and ended up throwing the piston rod through the cylinder wall... i had a buddy of mine...

i have a wrecked 91 3.0 V6 t4r and i am looking at another 88 t4r with the same motor. the 88 t4r needs a map sensor and i have a working one on the 91. Can anyone help me out??? are the map sensors going from the 88 to the 91 the same?
