With friends we have Pastiest-dipped an FJ and an Xterra (several parts on each). We did it on a warm day with 4 coats...been super happy with results on both. I haven't tackled anything on the 4Runner yet, but it is on the list..

Welcome indeed! Note:You'll find much fewer public lands here for Wheel'n. They are private, so you have to pay or know someone, often. Having said that...there are a few great spots if you are willing to drive a bit to get there. AND GO IN THE WINTER!!! :)

Wasn't surprised to see the poll lean towards 3rd gen. My family had a 2nd and a 3rd gen...That 3rd gen could get through some of the gnarliest snow and mud the farm could throw at it...almost all stock. It also made it through several camping trips in private lands that other vehicles always...

I see this is a really old thread, but I have the same issue. I replaced the tank, pump, FSU and fuel filter. (Old tank had rust in it from sitting for awhile after previous owner let it sit when it didn't start one day.) I also used compressed air to blow the fuel lines out up to the rail...
