Thanks to both of you. That's what I figured but just wanted to make sure. I traded in a '12 Tacoma for my '14 4Runner so I'm not used to all the new sounds (squishy brake pedal sound and turbo sound on acceleration). Just needed some validation from other 4Runner owners.

Just wondering about a high pitched sound I hear sometimes when accelerating on the highway…is this normal???

Question for you Alex…when I bought the 4Runner, a red TRD badge was already added to the rear door. Any idea what that would entail? An upgrade of the suspension? What should I look for, because I have no clue.

Ordered some Shrockworks sliders yesterday. I should get them at the end of October. So pumped!!! Plasti-dipping all the chrome badges lime green next weekend at work too!!!
