I paid $1600 for: timing belt water pump drive belts engine seals transmission drain and fill new plugs and wires the cheapest i was getting quoted was about $900 for just the timing belt and water pump. i also live in northern virginia to give you an idea.

I've had this same problem a handful of times in the last 3 years I've owned my 4runner. I have a remote start installed on my 4runner so everytime it happens, I just start it remotely and it runs fine. Don't know why this happens or why it starts when I do it remotely. Any ideas??

Real easy. I have a Pioneer AVIC-N2 and it has composite A/V inputs that my xbox just plugs in to. You hook it up just like you would to your home television.

I know this thread is from a long time ago but my rear wiper motor hasn't been working for a couple years now and I just have never fixed it. I was thinking about taking it off but what do people cover the opening with when you remove it?
