I took the bulbs out and tried reseating them: Both out = noise gone. 1 bulb = noise only from the 1 bulb both bulbs = i still get the sound after reseating I might try getting 2 new bulbs and see if that does the trick. Maybe they are just worn. I think the sound is the small metal retention...

I have the same issue...over 100km the roof cross bars start rattling and vibrating like crazy! I also have the sunroof wind deflector so I am wondering if that is the culprit. Do any other members have this problem?

Wow, I've been back and forth with my mechanic on this issue for 8 months. This noise drives me crazy. Just read this post and went out in the rain at 11PM and noticed these little wire clips. One is not seated properly and one is missing....hoping like hell this finally fixes the problem! If so...

Thanks for this post. I just got an '05 LTD and hated the OEM lights (pinkish colour). I was really hoping the newer LED lights ('06) would be plug-and-play. When I found out they were I ordered online and put them in. Dead easy and it makes a big difference to the esthetic of the T4R...thanks...
