as for the tpms coming on, i am not sure. I took all mine out and bypassed the light because they are too expensive to replace and i check my own tire pressure.

oh ya and i was amazed at how much bigger a 285/70 looks in person than in all these pictures online. I noticed you mentioned the 285 doesnt look that big in the pics, so i would try to find a set on someones truck that you can check out.
im running 285/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. They are definitely a heavier tire. You can notice a difference in acceleration and braking. Also, the vehicle stability control tends to be a little more sensitive. Obviously the gas milage suffered. I get about 16 mpg but i mostly drive...

ya every step is necessary. Just follow that whole thing. It looks like it takes longer than it really does. Everything pretty much just pops off. It will take you more time trying to figure out how to work your way around it. Just be patient and follow the steps exactly. After you do it...
