What should I replace at 150K?

I really like that philosophy, buy on sale and install at my convenience. Funny enough, I was about to purchase some suspension parts over winter, now they are 15% higher price across the board.

Before you rule in your tick as an exhaust manifold leak

Are you those mindless morons that just believe everything they hear on the internet?

Before you rule in your tick as an exhaust manifold leak

That's the reason why I thought it was the manifold tick. It 'seemed' to get louder. Maybe it was my mind playing tricks on me. Oh well, I'm happy it's gone now.

Nah, this 4runner is treated like a queen. You should see the service records :frisky:

Before you rule in your tick as an exhaust manifold leak

Try swapping to full synthetic. Just got pennzoil full synthetic from jiffy lube and my "manifold tick" is gone. I was 99.9% convinced it was an exhaust manifold leak.

Anyone think the frame recall is going to go through?

Funny, none of my older cars like my 1996 Honda Civic has any issues with rust driving in salty snowy conditions its whole life.

4Runner ran out of gas with 68 miles to empty

Fool me once shame on you ...

Possibly a new 4th gen owner

Lol, seriously? As fast or faster than the V8? Cracked manifold is not a huge concern, does not impact performance whatsoever. V6s have their issues as well. Seems like someone has V8 envy and needs to justify their V6 purchase. Buy a V8. A much stronger engine, and has similar MPG...

    A bit overpriced?

debating on leaving them a bad google review just for being slimy

    Mpg

Just to clarify on this because it could be confusing if he doesn't understand what you mean. Your 15.5 mpg isn't accounting for the 8% difference in diameter of your new tires. So this means you need to do 15.5 mpg x 1.08 to arrive at your actual MPG which is 16.74 mpg.
