I moved the gas tank into the cargo area last year and gained a whole lot of ground clearance..destroyed my original tank so I put the new one out of harms way. I have the links made up for a triangulated set-up...soon to be done!!
I put a couple pics in my photo album. They are 38/11.00/16. Tires have mabye 30% tread left and suspension is about three years old. Doesn't sit as high as it used to. Frame measures 22 inches high in the center with 20 psi in the tires. I'm gonna be at rausch creek may 12 if anybody wants...
Just remember that stepping up to 35's on a 3rd gen is a package deal..you'll destroy ur cv joints and spider gears unless u step up to stronger parts: Arb,quality gearset and "unbreakable" axles...I broke the splined part of the cv joints, the part with the c-clip that goes in ur differential...
Ring and pinion have already been abused for two years now as well as the arb frt locker. Everything seems to be holding up pretty well so far. Worth every penny!
