    OME 880 front 906 rear

Nothing else needed. I did have the company send it with the fronts built to save time. I ended up cutting off my rear shocks to install the new ones. The only thing, maybe, is my rear shocks came with a rubber bushing on top where it meets the mounting plate and recently I had been hearing a...

    OME 880 front 906 rear

That's 880/906? And, those are LT265/75s? I am looking for something equivalent to this ride height. Have you ever loaded up the rear? Sag, etc? Nice looking 4Runner! Thanks and Yep, that's it, tires and lift. It was a good choice for how I use the vehicle. Plus at the time of install I had...

    OME 880 front 906 rear

I have the 880/906 on mine. If money would have been no issue, probably would have gotten adjustable fronts with the 906 rears but no issues with the current setup.

    Best setup for towing?

I agree. We recently took a trip with 5 people plus the dog, luggage on the roof carried via Load Warrior Basket and the rear of the Runner barely sat down. It actually sat level. Normally I have about a 1 inch rake.

OEM wind deflector/bug shield, pics please!!

When I bought mine it had rock chips all over the front of the hood. Instead of spending $40-$70 I spent $8 on Bedliner spray, taped off the front of the hood and covered it up. I am not at a computer with my pictures but will post them when I get home tonight if you like. ***Edit*** Actually...

    Radio Backlight Flickering

Mine was doing the same and has now gone out. I did pull the unit apart but could not figure out how/if there was a way to replace the light. I will buy a new radio eventually.

    What lift should i get?

you can look at my signature and see the lift I have. It does great for how I use it and what i need it for. I got 1.5 inches in the front and 2 inches lift in the back from it.

Please give your opinions on shocks/struts

I have the Rough Country Nitro 9000s from Wheelers Offroad. Got the rears for $72 and the fronts for $121. I like them, for now.

    Pro-comp Steelies

Have you looked at Wheelers Offroad? He sells steel wheels and has alot of information on the website about them. Can't help on the ones you posted other than 4.25in backspacing is probably going to stick the tire out farther than you like.

    multimode slow to engage

I have noticed mine does that when I don't use it much. I was on the farm a while back and needed it several times. It seemed the more I used it the faster it engaged. I don't remember if I had my foot on the gas or not each time. I also agree with the fluid change which reminds me I need to...

    Anyone good with car loans?

I used to work at a credit union processing and closing auto loans. I agree they can probably give you a better rate. Most put a 7 year limit on the vehicle but some will go 10yrs. Also they make money on Credit Life/Disability and GAP insurance. Sometimes they will have that in the payment...

What Truck to buy? 3rd or 4th gen??

If I had to buy another one today I would get the 4th Gen w/V8. Something about a bigger motor in a vehicle just appeals to me.
