I am looking for a Seattle/Eastside 4x4 shop to install a set of metaltech4x4 rock sliders on my 4Runner. They are heavy and I am afraid to mess with the XREAS lines myself.

I emailed MetalTech. The mounting hardware is identical and would work for both new Limited and old SR5 trims. Also, according to MetalTech each MT slider weighs approximately 65lb. I could not find this information anywhere on these forums.

Awesome! Just put in an order for sliders for my Limited. Do I need to specify that the order is for a Limited and not for an SR5?

After carefully reading the manual, it appears that the need to exercise 4wd monthly is only mentioned in the part time 4wd section. Does it mean there is no need to regularly switch to H4L or L4L on a Limited? I was also surprised to see that H4L can be engaged at any speed.
