32s should have no issues with rubbing even on stock suspension and with those spacers (I had 32s with the 1.5" spacers that came on my truck and had no issues). I'm running pizza cutter 33s and barely had to clear anything. I have an ever so slight rub on the back of the wheel well but it's...
At least with the perry bumps it doesn't matter. I can see the spots where it's contacting the frame and it's not slipping off when compressing. I got to run a dirt road with some washboards pretty fast the other day and these things performed great, I'm used to my front feeling pretty harsh...
Figured I would post up some initial impressions. The product seems nice and solid and were very easy to install. Just had to jack up each end a little bit, get channel locks on the old bumps, take them off and screw the new ones in I think with a 14mm. It was hard to tell exactly how much to...
Lol I feel you. Last two months have been a bonanza of work on mine, much to the chagrin of my roommates who have had to put up with a garage filled with parts and tools until a week ago. Throwing on sliders this week and I should hopefully be done for a while.
Schrockworks is no longer in business, they screwed over a bunch of customers. There is another bolt on out there, don't remember who, but it costs like 750
Anyone know if 4xI has fixed the deflection issue and is this only on the HREW or is it also with the DOM? Does the square main tube make a difference? I'm about the pull the trigger on these.
Yup too late. That said I purposely removed the studs so I could clean all the old paper gasket. Didn't think to loctite them though but with any luck it will be a long time till I'm in there again.
Been working on this for over a month while getting all the parts together but I finally have this little red light turning on!
Only problem now is I have fuel tank skid to driveshaft weight love making going on when turning right with the diff locked lol. That and apparently there are two...
As long as the rubber is properly bonded it should work fine. It does have a 1 year no questions warranty so I'm okay with being a guinea pig. Worst comes to worse I swap in my OEM bumps while it's being warrantied.
Yeah definitely noticed they were a tight fit, I couldn't thread them by hand. Thanks man, that helps a ton. Going out to the garage right now to clean up the mating surface, put some FIPG red on and get everything buttoned up.
Well I'm biting the bullet for everyone, wen't ahead and ordered them. Looking at their main page the construction looks really neat. They are 3d printed and multidensity. They are taking advantage of 3d printing to create a complex interior structure too. I'm excited to try them. They also...
That's my question. I'm pretty sure I've read stuff about engine studs not needing to be torqued in due to torque on the nut providing the clamping force but figured it was worth asking for sure. I've never done anything with studs in my shade tree mechanic career but I took them off my...
