I did get the z71 silverado. 04, 80k miles, one owner, 4x4, leather, whole 9 yards. So far it has treated me very well, only thing I am kicking myself about is gas, but has a lot of extra space, so its a trade off I guess. Hopefully later in life I can return back to a 4runner but we shall see...

So mine ended up not only being a cracked head. The entire engine is done, I am not entirely sure the issue, but apparently my radiator was clogged pretty heavily, and one thing lead to another. Pretty much in the end my whole engine is destroyed. I am devastated right now as I have only had it...

That was a question I had as well, my radiator hose blew off. Could that be because of a clogged portion or maybe because it was just loose and the pressure caused it to fall off?

Well, that is the thing. It depends. After my pops talked to the shop its at right now, they said that I needed a new engine. I then talked to another shop that knows my specific 4runner better and they said bring it in, we can rebuild the heads and put a new timing belt and water pump in along...

I will absolutely look into rebuilding the set of them, but it will come down to a budget thing and I know that it will be preventative maintenance but I will just have to talk to the guy at the shop and see cost wise what the pricing would be.
