yes after 6 years my deflector has worn the paint all the way through,I did not have any clear paint protection underneath it, and if you adjust up where it doesnt come in contact with the paint it vibrates like hell and slaps the roof.

Probably a pretty tight budget if your trying to include tires icon stage 1 lift or any complete lift with coilovers- $2k non adjustable lift might be somewhere $1100-1300. so you could save some there upper control arms- $700 sounds like you need some armor if you are smashing on rocks-...

I would drive it normal with varying rpm but wouldnt tow for 500 to 1000 miles for the sake of the R&P. based on gear swaps, I have never bought a new vehicle (next year hopefully)
