    IS-F Shift Knob installed

LOL. It's a full-size SUV. You move that lever when you turn it on, when you turn it off, and when you go backwards...why would you care if it's bulky? That IS-F knob looks So Gay.

    removing the cross bars

Here's a link to a post with instructions on how to install them...guessing this should be good enough to understand how to remove them: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/58863-how-install-roof-rack-crossbars.html Are you interested in selling them once removed?

Pistol Holster Mod (Springfield XD Firearms)

Soon enough, my friend. Soon enough. Until then, focus on your rich history, compelling politics, and meaningful contribution to technology. Oh...wait...

Real World MPG with 5th Gen?

Currently 15.1 per the computer in all suburban stoplight to stoplight driving. It hasn't been above 16 since I reset it after our trip to Iowa. I'm a little disappointed, but neither the wife and I are not light on the throttle so I guess it's to be expected. Only 5800 miles on it, so I'm still...

    Runningboards: how effective are they?

They definitely help keep road crap off the doors, but they would only be a hindrance when off-roading. I installed mine because both my pregnant 5' 2" wife and our 5 year old were having trouble getting in/out of the vehicle. I'd take them off in a second if they weren't needed for that reason.

What tires are on your limited?

I've got the Yokohama's on my Limited, and have zero vibration at any speed. The excuse they gave you that it's from low profile tires or a new suspension is ridiculous. Was that out of someone at the dealer's mouth, or someone from Toyota actually said that?

    running boards - new accessory?

I have the same on mine, and I'd argue that they do look and fit like they're OEM. Oddly enough they come with Toyota branded installation instructions. I'll be curious to see if the "new" running boards being discussed are actually different.

Anyone Hardwire a Radar Detector yet?

I have a hard time believing that setup doesn't interfere with everyday visibility. I routinely have to look around the rear-view mirror to see other vehicles at stoplights and stopsigns...I can't imagine having something blocking my view 2 inches below it. Move the whole setup down another...

    3rd row on trail edition

Are those BOB wheels on that InStep bike trailer? Curious how that came about. They definitely look cooler than the stock setup.

    3rd row on trail edition

Adding it on your own would be pretty involved and expensive. The 3rd row adds different rear interior trim to accommodate the higher deck and a completely different, sliding 2nd row...and that's just the obvious stuff. Also, weight capacity on vehicles with the 3rd row option is 330 lbs higher...

Limited on the beach with 245s?

No, that's not the only tire you can get in that size. My Limited came with the Yokohama Geolanders, as did several other people's...

    Leaky Sunroof

I've experience zero leakage through mine, even after going through a particularly fierce carwash that was so hard I was convinced it would leave me with a caved-in hood. I'd say you have a problem.

    Oem nav service screens

Very cool. You find that just by screwing around or reading in one of the tech manuals?
