    Radiator/fan

Been running the big 3-row Champion CC1998 here in phoenix for maybe four years now. Been good to me. Imo, electric fans are inferior to the OEM fan. Check your fan clutch, replace your radiator, and you’ll be good to go

    ABS Off Sitch Mod

I have had an abs-off switch installed for years. There’s a wire in the ABS loom you can put on a switch- look around at the Andy Mod posts to find which one (it’s been years). It’s super great in the dirt where this trucks abs is pitiful and possibly dangerous

More storage options for 3rd gen

Hey bud here's mine. Pretty sure most everyone's seen it, but since I am FOREVER DONE WITH FACEBOOK (that horrid, horrid company), I'm back to posting here, however infrequently YOUTUBE LINK TO MY BUILD: YouTube

    2002 B&M cooler + Champion Radiator

I have been running the exact same setup for a couple years here in Arizona, in-line, just like you. It's been great.

I made blackout/bug net curtains for every window that attach via magnets behind trim

I affixed the magnets first, then replaced the trim and used more magnets and some butcher paper to make the patterns. I'd suggest doing the same because your magnet placement will invariably be slightly different

How To: Make Your Own Rear O2 Simulator for $5

Just chiming in to say that this mod finally got rid of my intermittent p0420 and I passed emissions with it. :) Im not sure if it was mentioned anywhere, but capacitors are polarized, so keep that in mind during the install. Edit: forgot to mention I run cat delete.

MODS: Keyless tailgate power window switch...

Very nice. I also used a 2nd gen switch and put it in the back rear quarter panel interior trim.

    My homemade Stealthbox

Thank man, it was a lot of fun to build and I use it far more than I ever anticipated. :)

    My homemade Stealthbox

Nice work man. DIY is always so much more satisfying than bought, especially since we get to fully customize it. My "stealth box" is a little different, but it works out well too YouTube

Search Help Needed! Best State with Best Prices?

AZ guy here who's been perusing craigslist 4x4 Toyota's for ten years. The problem you will encounter is that any decent rust-free rig (especially one w locked diff) sells THE SAME DAY it is posted, minus a few (very few) outliers. M It's frustrating, but that's the reality of the situation.

Can running different size tires in the rear on 96-2000 wreck the differential?

It wouldn't mke any difference at all, unless you lock the diff. Heating up the diff?? What? The differentials whole purpose is to allow the wheels on that axle to spin at different speeds (around corners). Having a different sized tired is basically just the equivalent of driving around a...

Daily Drivers (4WD) do the recommended monthly mileage in 4WD?

Quarterly, if I'm not using 4x4, and that's really only to exercise the rear locker.

    1997 Limited.....locking diff standard?

Indeed, this is incorrect. It was an option for each trim level.

Weird buzzing sound under right side of dash

Is it like a chirping? If so you have something rubbing on the black abs box behind the driver kick panel. I had to zip tie all wires away and wrap that stupid box in foam to eliminate the buzzing/chirping
