I used braided fishing line to remove the emblem, then an eraser wheel for the left over adhesive, and finish with a rubbing compound to blend and faint lines.... very very simple.

After reading the "$3500" MC fix... I thought u got totally screwed until I looked it up on RockAuto. Hell even through there is over $1k! Yikes... But it sounds like you made the right decision, I as well would keep what u have and just row with the punches.

Sounds like an excellent plan... prolly follow really close to u with my 4R's supension as well. Right now I'm all stock (05 Limited 4x4 V8) with a 2" spacer up front and Air Ride 1000 bags out back. I finally went fishing Tuesday and got to pull my 20' Bass Cat and it handled it like a champ...

Mines cracked as well..... time to throw a ***** fit to Toyota. I've dealt with this kinda mess before with my previous Nissan 370z and the steering lock junk. It can be a lengthy ordeal but can pay off in the long run... shortly after me and hundreds of other 370 owners started raising hell...

Have u checked you idlers to see if one has seized up? The back looks fine, its the middle to front that's the problem.... u can see the cords in it lol.
