gtg_banbang, I've never been in the tank either. Some sort of hole/ gash is what I'm thinking. I hear I need to take the seats out in order to access the fuel pump in the tank. Appreciate your inputs.. Regards, David

Possible fuel pump issues. Vehicle stutters each time the gauge reaches 1/2 tank. After I fill up beyond 1/2 tank the 4 runner works fine, no problem. I've already changed the fuel filter, vacuum hoses, had a tune-up, but the problem persists. Anyone else run into this? :thanks: David
