In Phoenix, if I drive about 20 mins on highway I usually see 10-20 4runners easy. And to think I literally never noticed one before I bought a couple months ago. But it is fun watching for them!

There are tons of people on here running 285s on the TRD PRO wheels which are only 7 in wide. So don't worry at all about 8 or 8.5. I would save the cash if it were me.

Thanks for the insight. $97 compared to $230 was my main reason going with the Wildpeaks 265/70/17. Just put these on my LE 3 days ago. I agree 100% it feels like "best tire ever" so far, although I went from the 1/32 geos on 20 in LE wheels to SCS 17 in, so not really a fair comparison! Hope...
