Lower stopper replacement walkthrough?
Great thank you Phatty! I figured as much since i haven't seen any new oil since cleaning it but i wanted to be sure.
Now i'm having trouble locating a walkthrough on replacing the front mounting cushion lower stopper. I've got the Chilton 1997-00 repair...

Im having the same problem with mine. So I ordered a new stopper (thanks to HiLife's post) but I'm curious why it's rotted. There's oil and gunk covering the whole assembly (LH-drivers side) so I'm guessing the last guy didn't clean up too well after...
Spring clip closes circuit

Mae sure you close the assembly before testing. Took me a while to realize that you need to put the bulb in place and replace the spring clip before the circuit is completed. Really thought i screwed the pooch there for a while!!
