Anyway to test the master cylinder before replacing it?

Same issue My brake pedal is super spongy. Once I tap it once it gets some pressure behind it. I bled, I flushed and took it to the dealer and they did the same. Still spongy. Replaced hoses, pads, calipers and rotors, no different. Any ideas??
