How tough was it to remove the Xreas? I just got 5100 Bilsteins to replace my Xreas and level my 2011 LE. Just not sure if there are any tricks to removing the Xreas. Thnx

Just received 5100s for my 2011 LE. Can anyone point me to a thread for removing the xreas shocks and struts? Toy tech said there is a way of removing them with out draining everything but I was wondering if there is some sort of guidance on how to deal with the xreas system. Thx.

New Shoes Ditched the 20s for a set of 275/65/18 Cooper M/S. So far, a 100 miles later, I am liking the better ride and stability over the Yokohamas now for the leveling to take care of a very slight occasional rub.

Just noticed this rust showing up on the hatch of our 2011. The paint is blistering and the rust is bleeding through. Sucks that this is happening to a relatively new vehicle with only 30k miles. Will be visiting the deal this week. Ergh!

No problems with our 2011 LE on OBX soft sand with stock 20's aired down to 18lbs. I did not even have to put it in part time 4wd or lock the center differential. The AWD system was my biggest concern but it handled just fine on the soft sand.

The carrier is silver and our T4R is gray so they do not match exactly. But certainly close enough for the amount of time it is actually on the roof. The best part is that there is no wind noise.

Just bought a Firestone 24-3582-9210 Airbag compressor at a surplus store. Got a real good deal on the compressor. Now I am just waiting on the pressure switch to come in and I will get it mounted... just in time for my trip to OBX. I am still a little concerned with the stock 20's on the soft...

Just picked up a Thule Sonic L roof box in silver for the T4R at REI. Great price and I am real happy with how it attaches to the OEM cross bars. I am also pleased to report zero wind noise on the hwy (I was really concerned about wind noise). So now we are ready for a road trip.:car:

Yes, a little vinegar and water will help remove water spots from glass. It dissolves the hard water deposits rather well.
