    Rear Spoiler Removal

This old thread reminds me of my dead truck. Oh well... Removing the spoiler changes the air flow. He's probably saying you'll get a lot of dirt on your window, or in your truck (if the rear window is down). Similar to what I said about exhaust fumes coming into the cab with the spoiler gone.

    Red Brake Calipers

All show, no go. If you want to draw attention to something that isn't there, or feel the need to "accessorize" your car, go for it. It's a matter of preference. I've just never heard of anyone saying their caliper rusted in half. I'm not a fan of spoilers on front wheel drive cars, hood...

    Weird eletrical issue

Don't know, but both are easy tests. The thing that doesn't line up for me is a "new" battery with a 68% charge. Obviously it can't start your truck, but other power sources can. So.....?

    Running Boards

I pulled mine because I didn't like the look. Mud flaps should prevent most of that, then again, I want rock sliders.

    Weird eletrical issue

Battery. If the alt. is dead, the car should still start with a fresh battery. 1. Start the car, then remove the positive battery lead. If the car dies, it's the alt. 2. Try another battery, and see what happens.

    1991 t4r

Low oil pressure at idle is common in the 3.0L. However, it should rise when RPMs do. As for rough idle, could be anything. Vaccum, Ignition, Exhaust, etc.

    Newbie needs some help

Yuck. I have a '91, and had SOME of the same window issues. I never noticed anything blowing when switching gears (I've got auto), but the fuse would blow when I tried to use the windows. My problem turned out to be a window switch (they fry a lot, but almost all toyotas have the same...

...and another small piece of me dies. This "upgrade" says, I can't afford to replace my calipers, but I can afford to paint them. Please, Please, do your drums next.

    Rear Spoiler Removal

If you pull your spoiler, and leave the bolts / holes, I will point and laugh. I've got a 2nd gen (w/o factory brake light), and shaved the spoiler / wiper for a cleaner look. Fairly easy job, but takes time to sand and fill. I will say though, removing the spoiler changes the airflow back...

    2nd Gen Audio

Congrats on getting the fronts changed. I would highly advise against cutting holes in the rear. You might even get it to look good, but it will probably not sound so hot. I mean...you're using plastic for a baffle, and it will probably rattle like hell. Even toyota used an enclosure box for...
