I got a 3.5mm ground loop isolator off Amazon for like $15 bucks a couple years ago, and that did the trick. I've since replaced the whole head-unit so I can't remember exactly, but I think this was the one.

It was pretty straightforward. I already had the whole rear hatch apart to paint the trim piece, so I just needed to know which wires to tap into while I was back there. Another user wrote a detailed guide on a similar install if you're going in blind.
