179000 miles. Has alot of new parts. 2400 OBO. A/C does not work, but everything else does. Rebuilt front end(all steering and drive components), new coil springs in rear(to get rid of sag). New alternator, battery, rear window and sunroof work great. If you are serious, I can take pics of...

Can I replace those seperately, easily. I'm not too useless around tools. Know where I could find reliable replacements? I will be removing the alt tomorrow morning to have it checked out. Thanks -Chris

Yea, I checked the battery at auto zone. It was good. The alternator is going to be hard to pull out until I heal up a bit. I covered the battery and the distributer, but not the alternator. I've never used that brand engine cleaner, but have hosed off and pressure washed my engine many...

OK, So I thought I'd throw this out there to se if this has happened to anyone else.......................... This Is on a 91 3.0 4WD 5Speed 4runner Washed the engine compartment. Used that engine bright stuff that makes your engine smell like kerosene forever(why wasn't that on the can???)...

No More Sagging!!!! Bought the Moog replacement rear coils (part # cc255)from www.autopartsgiant.com for 68.55 shipped. Installed in under 2 hours. All I needed was a floor jack, basic metric socket set, and rented a coil compresser from auto zone. EASY!!!!! and cheap. Now I can see over...

I'm going through the same thing. Anywhere from 30-50 the truck will wobble a little on the front end when applying the brakes. If I push the pedal very slightly, i can actually feel it in the pedal. I don't drive it too much, so I'm going to wait to do the steering rod recall and get my free...

Yea, I guess I couldn't see those bars when I crawled under there. How long do these last? Are they like springs where they will get tired and have to be replaced after a while, or do they last much longer then springs?

OK, so I give up. What acts as the "spring" in the front end? The shock do 2 functions? Is it magic? Every car I've ever owned has had shocks and springs, but my 91 4runner has just shocks. What gives?

Do you happen to have the moog part # handy?? I've been loooking, but autoparts giant and rockautoparts are all out. The shops around here want 180 bucks for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish this was posted 2 weeks earlier. I didn't know that the top piece twisted off, until I hack-sawed it off. The cost to replace was too much, so i bought XM instead of fixing it. Now I have a custom hole in the side of my fender.

I've been told the same thing at 2 different shops.. Mine has 173,000 miles, and since I have no maint. records, I've been told not to do it. I have a manual tranny, and was also told not to change the diff fluid. It seems to me that changing it would be the better way to go. I'll let you...
