I am using my stock amplifier so maybe that is an issue. I've replaced the sub as it was blown with a 8'' Rockford Fosgate that I installed myself. May be time to look at an aftermarket amp. Thanks again for the help/advice.

Thanks for all of the advice guys. I think I may just try the key trick and see if that works the next time it happens. If not it's definitely going back to the shop. I don't mind losing the video bypass too much really but my install is under a lifetime warranty. Thanks again for all of the help.

I had a local shop do the installation of my Pioneer AVH-X2600BT stereo. About two months after having it installed I noticed that sometimes I would turn my car on and there would be no sound but the radio was on and working. If I turned my car off and back on the sound would immediately come...

Please if you can respond today as I have the car torn apart to access the subwoofer, did you have to drill your own holes into the enclosure? The Rockford Fosgate sub does not line up with stock holes.

Went to fill up my 4Runner this morning and noticed the fuel cable was disconnected from the latch. I've searched on this forum but still can't figure out how to attach the cable to the latch. Any ideas? Thanks.

Just had my Pioneer AVH-X2600BT installed professionally a few weeks ago. When I started my 4Runner today there was no sound. Also I've noticed a few times that it seems the sound gets louder as if it's coming out of more speakers than usual sometimes. I turned off the 4Runner and restarted it...

Anyone have a stock JBL sub for sale? I want aftermarket but it seems like making a trim ring and different cabling could be difficult. I'd prefer a stock JBL to plug and play.

I went with the Pioneer AVH-X2600BT. Got it off of Amazon for $247.00. Has plenty of options as far as add-ons if you want in the future for navigation and rear view camera as well.

Thanks for the picture. Yeah unfortunately I'm running stock speakers. Spent a good bit on the new Pioneer head unit and install so gonna be a while before I think about aftermarket speakers, unless I see a great deal.
