I would recommend to look up OBD relocation kit, I got it on ebay I think. And then use this lock for fake port. The thing is that in 4Runner ODB port is easily accessed from behind and thieves most likely use needle probes with their hacking devices. At least my ODB lock didn't delay thieves...

I tried to use fob without battery on my 2022. As soon as I turned physical key in the lock alarm went off , but it stopped when I put the fob against start button and started the truck. So it starts just fine but alarm is embarrassing.

Thanks, it will work for some points, I guess I will carry my Garmin and when I arrive to destination I save it in my truck Nav. But it would be nice to find a way to enter gps coordinates directly. It strange that truck made for off-road has purely street navigation system...

My GPS coordinates are places with no address - camp sites, trail heads, lake access points, points of interest on logging roads and so on.

If you are talking about brake assist - it was in T4R in 2010 already. It's not fully auto though, you have to press brake sharp and fast and system will press if all the way scaring the hell out of you.
