FWIW, Doug over at Toytec just told me today that the 6251 is shorter than the stock shocks (21") and advised me not to go with them. The choice is yours.

Depending on what kind of projectors you use, and where you get them, they can run ~ $150. To do the whole conversion including a plug n' play wiring harness, projectors, bulbs, balasts, shrouds an labor, it's gonna run me about $650. You can do it yourself for less $$, but you have to deal...

Thanks for the comment, however, I'm not planning on slapping a HID kit into the reflector housings. I'll be doing the projectors as well, which aimed properly (namely, down), won't blind anyone.
