5/20 UPDATE What's up, fam. It's been some time since I've posted, but a lot has happened in the last couple of weeks, and I am stoked to share it with you guys! First, I fixed my CEL and all the codes she was throwing, no more bright orange light!! Next, I painted my front and rear bumpers...

How did you go about painting your front bumper? It looks good!!

Oh man I had this code along with P0441 and P0442... Ended up being a bad gas cap and a bad charcoal canister, which ran me about $680 after installation and labor. What REALLY is a bummer, is that the mechanic said everything will be fixed and good to go, only to find out that the P0440 code...

Just installed my new Borla muffler this morning!! Super stoked, loving the way it sounds! I need to get my brakes done soon, but I don't have a high lift jack so I have no idea how I am going to get the tires off any time soon without taking it to a shop...

So this morning I headed to my local muffler shop (Muffler Masters in Glendale, AZ) and got my new Borla Pro XS 40664 muffler that I had ordered from Amazon installed! The guy who did it was great, and did it in about 25 minutes charging only $50. Overall, I am very pleased with how it sounds...

Thanks for the kind words! I will continue to assess the required maintenance items as life rolls along! I also plan on painting my front and rear bumpers to get rid of the chrome! Possibly removing the chrome flares too, but I might paint them black first to see how it would look before...

Previous owner never mentioned anything about working on the driveshaft, but I will get it checked out soon! I will be sure to check out the vacuum switching valve, thanks for the pointer. I definitely would do a retrofit, but I am on a college budget, so until I go home and work a little bit...
