No, I swapped over the TMPS sensors and have been driving it ever since. As far as I can tell the speedometer didn't need any re-calibration.

The replacement of the motor in the actuator isn't really that hard. The motor is way cheaper than replacing the actuator. I've replaced two motors in a couple different doors and they have been humming along just fine for a couple years.

My wife and I had the same conversation - she wanted three rows and I didn't want to get rid of my 4Runner (which she had taken, lol). We ended up with a 2013 GX460 and couldn't be happier. The GX is an absolute machine and has more capability than my 4Runner and three rows.
