Good info. I will make sure that is done before we pick up the truck. I liked the honesty of the service manager this morning. Lets hope he follows through with the documentation. He mentioned they had this same thing on another 5th gen 4Runner.

Yeah before the 4Runner I had an FJ Cruiser and that had the filter on the top of the engine. Super easy to change oil. The amount of guards on this new 4.0 make me not want to DIY.... I guess the dealer wins

Dealer had me add a quart - didn't register on the stick. Had me add another. It did register after about 3/4 of that quart. Said drive it in. It's at the dealership now for the day. They are going to scope the engine and go over it fully.

Manager is supposed to call me right when he gets in at 7. I hope he tells me to add oil and come on. I would like to know how many quarts low it is. That would help me decide how pissed to be. Yes people make mistakes but this one could be serious.

I think this is probably it. I can see the oil filter but a lot of pooling under the filter. All the dripping is in the front so I doubt its the plug.

We got our 2015 in Nov around 42k + TTL. We have the 3rd row and the mats (that we quickly replaced with weather tech). All the trucks in the pipeline at that time had either 3rd row or running boards making them about the same price.

I have a 2015 Limited. No issues with vibration. I had a FJ Cruiser so I know a bit about vibration....

Option 1 is what I run on my Scion when I have my winter set on. I have the summers stacked up in the garage near where I park and when I start the car... no light until I am about 20 miles away. Must only check so often on the 2008s.

When we priced a 2014 the -1,000 discount was on the quote.... They said it was only for 2014 but when they found a 2015 with the 3rd row the -1,000 was still on the quote.
